Terms & payments
Effective date and scope
Effective 16 September 2026. These terms govern purchases from PMScripts.com. The seller is Pikus Media AB. Consumers retain mandatory rights under Swedish and applicable EU consumer law. A person buying mainly for business purposes is treated as a business customer where the law permits.
Seller and contact
PMS Scripts is operated by Pikus Media AB, Stjärnbildsgatan 120 lgh 1002, 415 67 Göteborg, Sweden. Organisation number: 559478-7821. VAT number: SE559478782101. Email: hej@pikus.media. Telephone: +46 76 109 52 40.
What you purchase
Paid plans provide PMS Cookie Banner Pro for the displayed number of websites: 1, 2 or 5 sites, billed monthly or annually. WordPress and compatible hosting are required. The product assists with consent management but is not legal advice or certification.
Consumer prices and tax
Consumer-facing prices include 25% Swedish VAT. The final tax treatment and total are shown before payment and can be recalculated from the billing country or a verified EU business VAT number. Payments settle in Swedish kronor (SEK); EUR, USD and PLN are estimates and do not fix the exchange rate used by the buyer’s bank.
Payment and confirmation
Available methods are presented through Stripe. An order becomes paid only after payment confirmation. If a payment is pending or unclear, check your account or contact us before trying again.
Order process and contract
Select a licence, review the cart, provide billing information and review the final total in SEK. The button labelled “Buy and pay” creates an order with a payment obligation. The contract is concluded when payment is confirmed and we send the order confirmation. The email records the order and essential contract information on a durable medium; these terms can also be printed or saved before purchase. We may refuse or cancel an order affected by an obvious pricing error, unlawful use or failed payment and will return any amount received where required.
Digital delivery and the 14-day choice
A buyer can choose immediate access or delivery after the withdrawal period. Immediate access requires an express request to begin digital delivery before the 14-day period ends and acknowledgement that delivery causes loss of the statutory withdrawal right for the delivered digital content. If both optional checkout boxes are left unchecked, payment can be completed but the licence and download are withheld and released automatically after 14 days. Mandatory rights concerning faults, incorrect charges and other non-waivable remedies remain unaffected.
Duration, automatic renewal and cancellation
The subscription starts when the first payment is confirmed and renews automatically every month or year using the saved payment method, as displayed before purchase. You may cancel automatic renewal from My account before the next billing date. Cancellation does not shorten the period already paid for; Pro access continues until that period ends and then the separately available Free functionality remains. Annual renewal reminders are sent at least 30 days before renewal, and monthly reminders are normally sent seven days before renewal. A failed payment can be retried and may require customer authentication or a replacement payment method.
Digital content and continuing services
The downloadable plugin ZIP is digital content. Licence activation, updates and protected classification access are continuing digital services supplied for the paid monthly or annual entitlement. The legal treatment of withdrawal and faults can differ between these components; we assess them separately rather than applying a blanket digital-product exclusion.
Downloads, activation and updates
Downloads are associated with the order and subscription. Immediate delivery begins after the recorded request and acknowledgement; otherwise the first licence and download are released after 14 days and the first renewal date is measured from that release date. Keep account and licence credentials secure. The activation allowance is the one shown in the order. Successful renewals extend the existing licence key. Updates and protected classification services require a valid entitlement and compatible software. We remain responsible for conformity of continuously supplied functionality throughout the paid entitlement period, subject to mandatory law.
Recurring payments and notices
Stripe stores the reusable payment method; PMScripts.com does not receive card numbers. Each successful renewal creates a new WooCommerce order, receipt and, where applicable, invoice. We email the account address before a scheduled renewal and after a successful or failed payment. Delivery of email cannot be guaranteed, so the billing schedule shown in My account remains authoritative. Price or material contract changes are not applied silently to an existing subscription; legally required advance notice and consent are obtained where applicable.
Functionality, compatibility and updates
The plugin is supplied as a WordPress ZIP. Current minimum WordPress and PHP versions are stated on the product page and in the package metadata. HTTPS and a supported browser are required for licence communication and checkout. We provide security, compatibility and functional updates during the paid entitlement period as required by the contract and mandatory law. The customer remains responsible for backups, a compatible WordPress environment, installing updates and testing site-specific consent settings.
Licence and permitted use
The plugin code is licensed under GPL-2.0-or-later as stated in the package, and nothing in these terms removes rights granted by that licence. The commercial purchase supplies a personal licence key and time-limited access to updates, activation and protected hosted services for the number of sites shown in the order. Licence keys, account credentials and access to protected services may not be shared, resold or used to bypass site limits. PMS names and trademarks are not licensed except as needed to identify unmodified software.
Availability and liability
We take reasonable measures to keep licensing and downloads available but cannot promise uninterrupted access during maintenance, hosting incidents or events outside reasonable control. Nothing excludes liability for intent, gross negligence, personal injury, mandatory consumer remedies or other liability that Swedish law does not allow us to exclude.
Withdrawal, faults and complaints
See Refunds & withdrawal. Nothing in these terms excludes mandatory consumer rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded. We do not apply a blanket “no refunds for digital products” rule.
Applicable law and disputes
Swedish law applies without depriving consumers of mandatory protections in their country of residence. Contact us first so we can address a complaint. Eligible consumers may refer a dispute to the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes (Allmänna reklamationsnämnden, ARN) at arn.se. Courts remain available as provided by law.
