Effective date and governing rules

Effective 16 September 2026. This policy applies to digital plugin and licence purchases from PMScripts.com and reflects the EU Consumer Rights Directive and the Swedish Distance Contracts Act (lag 2005:59). It does not reduce mandatory remedies under the Swedish Consumer Sales Act or other applicable consumer law.

Consumer withdrawal

A consumer generally has 14 days from conclusion of a distance contract to send a clear withdrawal notice. For downloadable digital content supplied without a physical medium, that right ends only after supply begins when the consumer first expressly requests immediate supply, acknowledges the resulting loss of the right, and receives the required contract confirmation. If both optional delivery boxes are left unchecked, the licence and download are withheld until the 14-day period has ended. Starting a continuing digital service does not by itself remove the whole withdrawal right; where withdrawal remains available, only a lawful proportionate amount for service already supplied may be due. We assess the download and continuing-service components separately. If the legal conditions for an exception are not met, we do not rely on it.

How to submit

Use the online function below, email hej@pikus.media, call us or send a letter. No special wording is required, but identify yourself and the contract. A notice sent before the deadline is timely. The online function immediately gives a reference and sends an email receipt; the receipt confirms submission, not that withdrawal eligibility or a refund has already been decided.

After a valid withdrawal

Stop using and sharing the digital content and licence. We may disable the associated entitlement. When reimbursement is due, we make it without undue delay and no later than 14 days after receiving the withdrawal notice, using the original payment method unless another lawful, no-cost method is agreed. Currency conversion by the buyer’s bank can affect the amount shown in a non-SEK account.

Subscription cancellation and renewal charges

Cancelling automatic renewal stops future scheduled charges but does not by itself reverse a charge already completed or shorten the paid period. If you believe a renewal was charged after a timely cancellation, was duplicated or was otherwise incorrect, contact us promptly. We review the payment and provide any refund or remedy required by the contract and mandatory law; this policy does not impose a blanket exclusion for renewal refunds.

Faults, updates, late delivery and complaints

If download, activation, required updates or the product do not work as promised, contact us with the order number, error and relevant environment details. Consumers can generally complain about a digital-content fault for three years, and for continuously supplied content we are responsible for conformity throughout the agreed period. A complaint made within two months after discovery is considered timely. Depending on the circumstances, remedies can include correction, redelivery, price reduction, termination and reimbursement.

Business purchases

The statutory consumer withdrawal right does not generally apply to a purchase made mainly for business purposes. Contractual and statutory remedies for faults remain available as applicable.
